Windows 10: Microsoft account problem

    Microsoft account problem


    Error message on start-up and every few hours. "There is a problem with your Microsoft account." It seems a lot of people have come across this issue. However, I have tried every fix I found, and none are working. I've run into this a few months ago. At the time I opened Office Word and checked that I was signed in there, and the problem disappeared. Buuuuut now it's back. This time, signing into Office Word does nothing at all. Every time the Microsoft Account error message comes up, the account tab in my Office Word app looks like this. But signing in doesn't stop the error messages from appearing and disrupting my work.

    I've checked the Mail app on Windows AND OneDrive. Both seem fine. I've checked my Microsoft account online to be sure I didn't need to update information, but there doesn't seem to be anything out of place. Another suggestion I read was to try a Microsoft Account troubleshoot. I did that. This is the result.

    It seems for some reason that maybe my pc is no longer syncing properly? Yet I do not know why. Nothing has been changed and the internet connection is as good as usual. Posting this from my PC with said issue. Any help is very appreciated!

    Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

    Hello Ken,

    Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

    I also run all related troubleshooters:
    • Windows Update
    • Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
    • Microsoft Accounts

    No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.

    Remove account

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

    Microsoft account problem

    Cannot sign in microsoft account.

    My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
    I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
    and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6. Microsoft account problem :(

    Any suggestion?
