Windows 10: Microsoft apps are not working

Sir

The apps that I had downloaded from Microsoft store like news, amazon app, flipkart and store are not working. Store is showing error code 0x80072EE7 and others are telling to check my internet connection. But my pc is connected to internet and apps that are not downloaded from store are working fine like Steam. The issue is not just in these apps it persists with Microsoft Edge also, it shows me cant reach this page. I had tried to troubleshoot the apps but nothing happened. I also cleared browsing data on Edge and also tried to reset it but no result. Please help

I suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search bar and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Also, I suggest you to check if there are any updates available for the apps in Windows Store.

If the issue still persists, suggest you to create another user account and check for status.

App store and Microsoft account

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
