Windows 10: Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Keyboard not connecting/powering on.

I am posting this in the Windows Category because i could not find one suiting my question. So here is my problem:

I dont know what model this keyboard is.

I think it is the Microsoft Sculpt ergonomic keyboard.

It came with the ergonomic mouse and the numpad.

All articles I read online says I need to press a button, but my keyboard doesnt have a button. Any where. I have checked like 10 times at this point.

I put the batteries in, a green light appears in the middle of the space keyit is split to two and then, 20 seconds later, it fades out.

Bluetooth doesnt recognize it as well.

Last time it worked, i didnt even have to do anything. I just got it out, and it started working. No bluetooth pairing and stuff.

I have all my drivers updated.

I dont know what to do.

Maybe I need the mouse plugged in so it can connect? Which I lost the USB of it, so I cant plug it in. Can you buy one of those somewhere? because last time it worked like a charm, my ergonomic mouse was plugged in. I am using a MSI laptop, with the latest Windows 10 version. Version 2004. I did all the updates Windows Update said I should do.

Bluetooth Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard

Is anyone aware if Microsoft is considering releasing bluetooth version of the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard (or Desktop)?

In my opinion, it would be a great step forward for this great product.

 

Issues with Surface Ergonomic Keyboard

To isolate the concern, is your computer also freezing when you're not using the new keyboard? This is for us to know if the issue is being caused by the keyboard or a program on your computer.

In the meantime, kindly uninstall the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard drive, and then re-install it. To do this, follow the steps below:

• (Make sure the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard is connected) Right click the Start button.
• Click Device Manager.
• Expand Keyboards.
• Look for the driver of the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard. Right click the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard driver, and the choose,
  Uninstall.
• On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the
  Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.
• After deleting the driver, visit this
  link and download the driver software.
• After downloading the driver software, run it to install.
• After installing the driver, restart your computer.
• After restarting, observe if your computer will freeze after waking up the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard.

After performing the steps, kindly share with us the result.
