Microsoft brings Android apps to Windows 10 with new feature

Microsoft understands that are a lot of valid reasons why someone would want to run Android apps on their Windows 10 computers. Later this year, Microsoft says it will allow Android users to stream their Android apps directly to a PC and you’ll be able to do it using the Your Phone app.

Your Phone app will be updated with a new page called ‘apps’ and it will show you a list of all the apps that are installed on your phone. It would be free to use, and you can easily launch apps using the default-designed interface.

It appears that the technology uses Microsoft’s cloud to improve the performance of Android apps running on Windows 10-based machines.

“Get ready to enjoy the best of multiple phone apps – social feeds, friends, even food delivery – right on your Windows 10 laptop. Coming soon,” Microsoft said.

According to Samsung, you’ll be able to run multiple apps side by side on Windows 10. In addition, your notes will sync across Samsung Notes app, OneNote and Outlook.

At the moment, it’s unclear whether this feature will be coming to non-Samsung phones in the future.
