I have had contact with every edition of software going back to dos. what are you guys godzilla? do you find it funny to crash crush and generally break **** like my children use to do? I get sucked into every new edition because you know longer update the previous version. then you crash the simplest of things like picking a background out of a theme package. you ruined a real game platform back in 98. each system that has come along kills off something that worked fine in the previous setup. you dont just kill off software but you have to kill off hardware to. This will be the last edition I am planning on buying. over 40 years of sadness and heartaches of you smashing stuff that was working just fine. none of you monkeys out in that valley impress me. in fact its extremely disturbing that you clowns are getting rich off everyday people by shoveling **** to the masses. For one nobody should have to break there sac trying to personalize there software. if you are going to continue to combine software then by default the desktop or laptop that this software is installed on should be the only one alive. there is no need to activate stuff made for a laptop on a desktop. the group policy was running by default on 7.

also i was able to run your antivirus along side norton. cant do that anymore. I prefer to set my standards when it come to protection. now that you are continuing your hack job do you really think and believe the public is going to trust you menagerie of madness?

    win 98

    win xp

    win 7

were from my experience the only pieces of software that were worth the money you ask for them. I am done when you kill this one off time to fine something that gives back instead of taking all the time.

oh i have seen some of your mvp's in action; they are horrifying when it come to answers.

    :)

    Cumulative Update KB4338819 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.165 - July 10

This update totally destroyed me, which was not totally unexpected.

I have noticed that update issues are fairly common occurrences.

Microsoft must have a site that lists step by step actions that they want you to take when Windows 10 Updates and trashes a system?

Does such a site exist? Where do I go to get help?

Recovering Windows 10 After an Update

    Step 1:
    sfc /scannow

    Step 2:
    Dism

    Step 3:
etc.. Uninstall Video Drivers and reinstall

    Microsoft Edge TLS Security

After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

    1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

    2. Type internet options

    3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

    4. Click on the advanced tab

    5. Scroll down to the security section

    6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
    Use SSL 3.0
    Use TLS 1.0
    Use TLS 1.1
    Use TLS 1.2

    7. Click apply

    8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.
