    Anniversary Update - Hardware Requirements

    Hi,

    the updated Windows 10 Hardware requirements list a minimum 2GB RAM also for the 32bit version (used to be 1GB fpr 32bit). Does this mean that devices with 1 GB RAM will not receive the Anniversary Update (Version 1607)? Or do these requirements apply only
    to new OEM devices?

    Thanks!

  3. What are the minimum requirements for pc hardware/drivers when it comes to game streaming on Windows 10?

    Hello,

    I would suggest you to contact your manufacturer and update the BIOS and check if the PC's performance has been enhanced and improved.

    BIOS Disclaimer:

    Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS
    settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

    Hope this helps. We look forward to hear from you.

    I am not sure my system is supported now *Sad . I have a Dell all-in-one inspiron 20/20. I think the resolution I use is no longer supported by the operating system but can't say for sure.

    You can see my specs and what resolutions I used for windows 7, 10 & Linux Mint.

    @TairikuOkami

    I read the whole article custom oem images order by the customer, don't need to have UEFI/TPM /Secure Boot enabled. I don't see how that is going to work with new systems that are x86 (32bit).

    It says for all new models introduced after July, TPM 2.0 and UEFI must be supported. Not existing hardware

    I don't think Microsoft is thinking clearly. Let say you upgrade your system to windows 10 November update and you met the system requirements. Then Microsoft release an anniversary update but your system doesn't meet the requirements. What are you suppose to do? Can you keep the November update without the Anniversary update trying to install?

    EVERYONE please note: These are the requirements that OEM's must satisfy in order to certify their new offerings and Windows 10 capable. If your machine runs Windows 10 now, it will run the Anniversary update just fine - it's not going to test to see if you have UEFI or whatever.

    Microsoft would shoot themselves in the foot if current 10 users couldn't upgrade, don't think that would happen. Good info though!*Huh
