Windows 10: microsoft edge recently stopped filling in passwords and privacy settings changed

Discus and support microsoft edge recently stopped filling in passwords and privacy settings changed in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; following the recent updates edge stopped using saved passwords and has restricted the privacy settings.     microsoft edge recently stopped filling in passwords and privacy settings changed


    following the recent updates edge stopped using saved passwords and has restricted the privacy settings.

    I cannot change these setting as they are greyed out but my organisation is telling me that there are no corporate policies set on these items to restrict my access.


    How can I locate the issue and try to fix it

    Help please

    did you read what I wrote quote

    "FOR MONTHS BEEN TRYING TO GET EDGE TO FILL IN FORMS ALL SETTINGS SAY SWITCHED ON"

    by ALL I mean ALL including

    4.
    Turn on Offer to save Password.

    5.
    Turn on save form entries.

    as you suggested.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    1.
    Open Microsoft Edge.

    2.
    Click on (…) setting
    at the right top corner.

    3.
    Click on View Advanced settings.

    4.
    Turn on Offer to save Password.

    5.
    Turn on save form entries.



    You can also use different browser like Internet Explorer and check if the issue persist.
