Windows 10: Microsoft Error Code 0x80070005

I am trying to download some PC games from the Xbox Store.


When it asks me to choose a drive, I chose my second option. It is the D: 689.63 GB available drive.


This shows a message at the bottom that says: "This location isn't set up for installing games. Set it as your location for where new apps are saved" I click on that.


I then change the drive where the new apps are saved to and hit Apply.


The following message then appears: "Delete other apps? This drive has apps from another device. To use this drive, the other apps must first be deleted. Do you want to continue?" I click yes.


Then a message pops up that says: "We couldn't set your default save location. The operation did not complete successfully. Try again in a bit. The error code is 0x80070005, in case you need it."


I have tried everything I can think of, including wiping the entire computer and starting it over again. Nothing has worked. I have gone into the drive itself. There is a folder called Windows Apps that I attempted to delete, and it says I don't have the "Permission" to delete that folder.


I'm at my wits end and would love some help.

Trying to download windows 10 to a media device (USB) for installation on another PC and keep getting this error. Am wondering if I should be following the steps suggested for error code: 0x80070005-0xA0019 ?
