I was playing with the game for 2 weeks and today it only crashes on start-up

So now I can't play.


I tried other solutions like disconnect the rudders and jokes, or disable the Defender antivirus.


Nothing works.


This happened after the last FS upgrade and W10 updates

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Hi,

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 crashes to desktop just before loading the flight 100% of the time with exception code 0xc0000005. Since I’ve downloaded the game (09/25/2020) I couldn’t get in to the cockpit not even once. Is there a way to fix this
issue?

I've been trying for 3 days to get Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 running on my PC and I'm stumped. I'm constantly getting "FlightSimulator.exe has stopped working" errors. The game never even loads. Screen goes black like it's going to load, then crashes.

I've rebuilt my system from scratch several times. It appears I have all updates installed. I've tried multiple different graphics drivers. I've tried the following command I found in another thread:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

My system is brand new: Intel i9-10900F @ 2.8Ghz, Nvidia RTX 3080, 32GB RAM

Windows 10 Enterprise version 20H2

OS build 19042.572

Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0

Flight simulator 2020 keeps crashing

So I installed flight simulator 2020 very excited however the game keeps crashing. There will be times where I can get in flight and fly around or just in the menue however it will always crash.

Above is the error code that was logged in event viewer.

Before people start telling me to reinstall my drivers ect I will go through the troubleshooting steps I have already done.

I reinstalled nVidia drivers each time using DDU to uninstall them. I used old drivers and up to date drives.

I did a clean install of windows I did the latest ver and I have used ver 1909

I reseated all the componets in the PC

I stopped any background apps MSI afterburner Spotify wallpaperenine ect

I ran GPU and CPU stresstests to check it wasnt a power draw issue. I used Heaven and Cinebench

PC Specs are amd 2700x 2080super 16gb ram 512 nvme ssd 1tb hdd gigabyte b450-m motherboard.

Honestly I have been searching the internet and trying so many different things that I am tired and I hope someone here can help me resolve this issue.
