Windows 10: Microsoft Flight simulator extremely Grainy.

Ever since I’ve had this sim, theres always been an annoying amount of grain, so much that it even shows up in my screenshots. Ive seen other support threads that have said that it’s ‘normal’ and its how they do the textures. I dont see how this is normal when I have other friends that play the sim as well with no grain issues. Ill attach a picture I got of it in this question. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help as its difficult to enjoy the simulator now :

I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

The only reference I can find for FSX Extreme Edition is to Traffic Sounds FSX Extreme Edition 2009. Can you confirm that is what you are referring to (i.e. an add on of special Traffic Sounds to the base FSX simulator)?

If you still say that it is a separate simulator, then did you buy it boxed or a download? What size (approx.) is this software?

As far as I know, Microsoft only produced the various Flight Simulators up to FSX (with the service packs and acceleration pack). Then they went on to produce MS Flight as their last sim.
