Windows 10: Microsoft games not openinh

Hello,

I made a switch to PC gaming a while ago but i decided i wanted to play a crossplay game with my friends lately. So i downloaded Ark Survival and another game called The Long Dark. I had already owned these games previously on xbox so it was free for me. The thing is after i wait 2 hours to download the behemoth of a game ark, the game wont even launch. I click to open the game And the only thing that happens is the game opens a tab and it just stays on the main picture of ark survival. Nothing ever happens, no loading icon appears so it seems that the computer isnt even trying to open the game. Can you help please?
