Just a day ago I got a logitech MX Anywhere 2S.

    http://www.logitech.com/en-us/produc...FYa3wAodLWIIUw

I use it on two computers just by pressing a button to shift from one to the other. It's a little small for a big hand but works just fine with my hand. All buttons work smooth and are lite to the touch and use.

I don't use all the features at this time, well because I don't need to.
Time will tell if it last.
While waiting for my new mouse I hook up my old Microsoft 5000 and it worked as it should.
The difference was it felt like the button took about twice or maybe three times more effort to push buttons.
Doesn't sound like much until you do this same movement using the mouse for 8, 10 or 12 hours a day.
You don't notice the difference until you try a quality mouse or Carpal Tunnel syndrome sets in using the old mouse.
It's the same with keyboards. You don't notice the difference until you type on a quality mechanical keyboard.

Keeping in mind that the mouse and keyboard is physically use more than any other piece of hardware but yet many people pay no attention to getting the best quality mouse and keyboard they can.
I do have problems with logitech. Their programs usually don't work as they should and they last about 2 or 3 years and die.
So far all my Microsoft mice and keyboards (which I have had for many years) work the same as they did when I got them.

I was really hoping that Das would make a wireless mouse. I would surly get one or two.
I say this because I have two of their keyboards and they are great.

Nor are they designed to be.

The MX Master is a full fledged desktop mouse while the Arc Mouse is laptop mouse deigned to lay flat for storage. It is also not designed to have the functionality of a full desktop mouse.

And for the record, I've both the Logitech MX Master and the Microsoft Arc Mouse Bluetooth.

Logitech's new wireless charging mouse might be worth a look for you as it has a customizable ambidextrous design - Logitech G903 Wireless Gaming Mouse

If Darth Vader was to use a mouse, I think that would be the one, lol.

The main reason for my high opinion of the Logitech MX Master is the comfort afforded by its design

Most if not all mice need to be controlled by a clenched fist, ie- gripping on both sides, a sure fire way to develop carpal syndrome problems after extensive use.

The MX Master does not need a clenched fist, the hand rests naturally on the mouse with the thumb resting flat inside the sculpted shape so enabling the mouse to slide easily.

PS....I think Logitech should pay me a retainer after my fulsome praise.

  6. Comfort and ease of use is one reason why I like my M570 Trackballs. I can use a nice soft padded palm rest, as I don't have to move my hand. I just move the ball with my thumb. It's very natural, for me it is anyway. My fingers are free for the buttons. They aren't for everybody though, I get that. They seem to be a love or hate type of deal.

I also have a K400 keyboard with trackpad. I like the smallish size. I never use the numpad part so having a trackpad there works for me. It gets moved from device to device some times. My headless raspberry Pi setups mostly. K350 on my main desktop. I like the padded palm rest on it. Relinked it to my Trackball's Unifying receiver an gave the mouse that came with it to my father.

I have a fold up Dell mouse (that apparently came with or designed for a laptop) and it unfolds to something similar to the Arc Mouse. Dell sent this to me in a "Christmas package" that was sent to those of us that are regulars on the Dell forums ("rockstars" - the rock in reference to Round Rock Tx where Dell HQ is).

Just dug up another nice surprise for the MX Master:

    In Chrome, you can't 'wheel-click' a bookmark to open in a new Tab and have it switch to it immediately without holding Shift;

    ... until now!!! *Biggrin
