Windows 10: Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzles - Crashes

Does anyone have a fix? I have been doing the puzzle game for about a year or a year and a half, once in a while wit would freeze and automatically close. As simple restart would bring me back to where I was. Now the system opens to try to show an advertisement and it crashes and closes almost immediately. I enjoyed the puzzles, but sadly until Microsoft fixes it, it is worthless.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Reset Windows Store Cache.

I would suggest you reset the Windows app store and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Steps:-

1. Press
Windows Key + R.

2. Type,
WSReset.exe and hit Enter.

Microsoft Jigsaw crash

Sangeeta, is this about Microsoft Jigsaw or 'Magic Jigsaw Puzzle'? If it is about Microsoft Jigsaw, will I lose all gold points when I reinstall? Thank you for your help.

There are several reasons why the puzzles were not uploaded to your Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzle Collection. It may be due to server connection errors or you need to reset Windows Store. To resolve your concern, you may perform the following solutions on your
computer:

Solution 1. Check for new game updates on Windows Store by following the steps on this

link.

Solution 2. Reset Windows Store to clear the store cache.

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.   
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).   
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.   

Solution 3. Run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps by going to this

link and clicking the Run troubleshooter button.
