    Microsoft Keyboard LXM-00001 - Wrist rest getting discolored after 2 weeks of use


    Hi, purchased a Microsoft Keyboard LXM-00001 2 weeks ago and the wrist rest is showing signs of wear black color turning into gray. Has anyone else experienced it?

    Or better yet, can this considered a defective product and be replaced?

    Wrist rests...

    If you are sufering from RSI (wrist strain) I suggest the following:

    1. Apple keyboard. Yes, it is so flat and low, you just rest you wrists on the table. It is VERY comfortable postition once you get used to it

    2. Get a smaller mouse, like the MS laptop mouse. It will fit in the "cup" of your hand while is still rests on the table

    I'm going to get a laptop styled keyboard that has an optional wrist rest that I'll be sure to use. And I guess I'll grab the eXactMat instead of the Pro Pad.
