    Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 Audio Stereo Reversed/Opposite Issue


    After a few minutes to half an hour of using my Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 on Windows 10 the audio will reverse, so that left audio will be heard via the right headphone and vice versa.


    This bug has been present for the last 2 years and I've used different computers and 3/4 different Lifechat headsets and it still appears.


    This is not that big a deal for most things, but is a big issue for gaming as everything sounds like it's coming from the opposite side.


    I've tried installing and uninstalling the Lifechat drivers, toggling all of the sound settings, uninstalling/installing audio drivers and different USB ports, different computers, turning on Windows Sonic or turning it off, etc.


    A quick fix is to open sound settings and disable the Headset then enable it again. However I can't do this in games like Minecraft where the audio breaks and you need to restart Minecraft to fix it, or if I'm in the middle of a fight.


    The audio will reverse again even after fixing it.


    The microphone works fine, the audio is fine, just reversed.

    Thank you for your help with the audio portion of the headset issue. I am also experiencing issues with the microphone for the microsoft LifeChat LX-3000. Has anyone experienced this issue and been able to resolve the problem? Thank you for your help.
