Windows 10: microsoft mail app windows 10 20H2

I have windows mail app and it just doesn't work. If I try to select more than on email at a time it freezes and is locked until I restart it. I have seached widely for a solution.. and there isn't one, nothing works, uninstall, reinstall, troubleshoot... nothing works. The best way to use this app is to just to look at your emails... thats it! just look at them.If you want to do anything more..use outlook for most and the google for your gmails....Just don't waste your time trying to fix mail... you can't, Microsoft can't, its been like this since 2015... by now an upgrade would have fixed

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
