Windows 10: Microsoft Mail Version 16005.14326.20970.0 - Question about Junk Mail

I have the above referenced version of Mail installed under Windows 11 and also using Edge. How can I better handle Junk Mail using it? I always thought that if I receive anything from anyone into my InBox, and then if I marked it as Junk, then Mail would automatically begin routing future e-mails from that same sender into my Junk Mail folder. However, that is not happening. Also, how can I block senders under my version of Mail? Thanks in advance for your help.

Outlook Junk Mail capacity

Just curious if there is a limit to the number of junk , spam mail that can be stored in the Blocked Mail List, mainly Blocked Mail Domain list? Just blocking junk mail is not as effective as blocking the domain although this can be quite labourious too.

 

Windows Live Mail Junk not junk

I don't see those options on my Hotmail account....on the web <---- I access my email from on the web, not on my desktop. Here is a pic of my Junk mail folder....on the web...






Hotmail.com AND Outlook.com are same mail programs.....on the web....

 

Outlook Junk Mail problem

Two types of junk mail, reputable companies and spammers.

If these are companies you recognize unsubscribe.

If companies are not recognized, mark them as junk. In junk click on mail and then Block individual email.

If you can id a domain you can Block whole domain. Click gear, the click View all Outlook settings (assuming new outlook template), click mail, click junk mail, at top is blocking. (Works in older layout too, but steps different.)

Never unsubscribe from companies you don't recognize as you are telling spammers you read junk and your name will be sold as hot commodity.
