Windows 10: Microsoft Money Sunset no longer produces sound

I've been using Money Sunset for many years without any problems. A couple of weeks ago the usual sounds stopped altogether eg sound on starting up app and sounds upon various actions. Apart from sound, Money is still working fine. My speaker is working fine for sounds on all other apps - It's only Money which has gone silent.


How can I get the sounds back onto Money?

Money Sunset/ Sunset Plus: Is it same as Microsoft Money? Is it free?

I used Microsoft Money several years ago. Then it was no longer supported. I noticed there's a Money Sunset/ Sunset Plus. Is this the same product? Is this something I need to buy? Looks like it's just a free download.
