Windows 10: Microsoft mouse and Keyboard Center Macro Does not work with some specifics applications

Hi,

I have an issue with the Microsoft mouse and keyboard control center shortcuts which doesn't work with some specifics applications as the Windows task manager and other apps.

For example, if I configure a key combination on the middle button click to reduce all the app Win+D



If I open outlook and press the middle button, the application will be minimized so ti works.

If I open task manager and press the middle button, the application won't be minimized so it doesn't works.


I am using these shortcuts to activate zoom increase and decrease in a dedicated application so this issue is very critical to me as I am using it all the time.

Microsoft Mouse Macros

Will any supported device for Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard center be able to create macros? For instance can the Microsoft basic optical mouse create and use macros? Or is there a list of devices that are able to create macros using the Microsoft mouse
and keyboard center?

 

Microsoft mouse and keyboard center with macro the home key fails

In Microsoft mouse and keyboard center when I did a macro and tried record the home key fail. I have Windows 10 Home 1809 and Microsoft mouse and keyboard center 12.181.137.0 but it is a failure that I repeat at many computers with many mouses and so.

My actual mouse:

Device Name(Device Name),Serial Number(Serial Number),Firmware Version(Firmware Version),PID/VID,Color ID(Color ID)

Mouse and keyboard center macros take ages for first run

I understand your concern, I’ll be glad to assists you. I suggest you to clear the
FilterKeys and check if it helps.

• Type Ease of Access Center in the search box.
• Select make the keyboard easier to use.
• Click to clear Turn on Filter Keys, or adjust the settings to a quicker rate.
• Close the Window.

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to remove and re add the macros.
