Windows 10: Microsoft Office Outlook Address Book

Since the latest Windows Update two days ago, all of the contacts in my Office Outlook Address Book have disappeared. It says that "The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened and it may have been moved or deleted." Help! That represents years of contact information.

Address Book - Outlook - missing

thanks again Snakeyes...... i had a read thru that article, and did reset my icloud etc..... the following is the error message i get when i try to open my address book in Outlook

i have a look at the Help option, but nothing there helps....... *Redface

 

Address Book is blank

LOL - makes it look like I have no friends *Frown

Yes, it is Outlook. I had used Live Mail & it was able to import everything without any problem, but didn't care for the program & installed Outlook from MS Office 2007. When I imported the list everyone's name shows up in the "Contacts" but when you open up the address book it is blank.

I can't follow the advice given "

• Select the Contacts folder, and then click the Folder tab in the Ribbon.
• Click the Folder Properties tab in the Ribbon.
• On the Outlook Address Book tab, click to select the Show this folder as an e-mail address book check box, type a descriptive name, and then click OK "

because there is no Outlook Address Book tab shown when I open Folder Properties tab.
