Windows 10: Microsoft OneDrive and Account Transition from School to Personal

I have been having difficulty with my OneDrive Account and other computer issues. My previous account was linked to a school account and assumed that account restrictions from that account may be causing the problems. I have been working on transitioning things to a different email address and making my OneDrive a personal account. While adding my new email address and removing the old I have run into some difficulties including some aspects of the account still linked to the old account and not allowing me to add the new, as well as, the OneDrive account not allowing me to transition from a school account to a personal account. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can't add personal account to onedrive!!!

Please follow the steps to contact OneDrive support for further assistance on adding personal account to OneDrive.

1. Login to OneDrive.com.
2. Click the ? Help icon on the top banner of the page.
3. Select Email OneDrive support for the further assistance.

Windows 8 with 2 Microsoft accounts?

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

Here switch between local and microsoft account.
