Discus and support Microsoft Outlook blocks access to URL links in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; Great. You will have to manage the updates quite closely as they will all want to re-install. Excellent that you have a backup, not many people do....     Microsoft Outlook blocks access to URL links


    All the required updates for Anti Virus and Malware have been carried out.

    Previous to 3 weeks ago I turned OFF 'Windows Update' for a very long time, on the basis that: 'If it ain't broke, then don't fix it' and I had an excellent running Laptop.
    I think it was turned off for over 6 months!

    I then ran Windows Update and updated everything that needed it while I was very surprised that a lot of friends running WIN 10 had experienced horrendous problems when the Updates arrived.

    The Update for me ran overnight and everything went in 1st time with no errors.

    I do get the impression now that Microsoft are 'using' the community as cheap labour to perform a lot of their 'Testing' before another BIG Update is released!

    'Marketing want it released by such a date before the competition gets theirs out!!!' So Clear, Complete, Concise & Full Testing is forgotten!
    Sad really when you put so much faith in the reliability of the product.

    While finally.......

    I have been using Macrium Reflect Free Edition for a very long time and would recommend it to anyone!
    It has pulled me out of the 'Brown & Smelly' on a few occasions, where instead of spending a very long time in rebuilding my HDD, I am back up and running again in as little over 30 Minutes!

    After I finally go this lot 'sorted' the first move was an IMAGE BACKUP with Macrium!
