Windows 10: Microsoft Outlook spamming me?

i have 5 email adds. 4 hotmail and 1 Gmail.

all sync correctly.

however i am continually getting spammed by MS about the Gmail. following instructions to fix the issue does nothing. removing email from my system and adding again fails to fix. removing and leaving it removed, i still get spammed on a daily basis.

It looks like we don't have permission to get email for @gmail.com.

Outlook 2016 Spam Email

I accidentally marked an email as spam and it got moved into my spam folder. I have tried moving it back into my inbox but when Outlook syncs, the mail moves back to my spam folder. I have tried creating a rule to move it back into my inbox, added the email address into my safe senders list and also tried rebuilding my outlook profile but I still get the same result. Any ideas as to how this can be fixed?

I'm sitting here in the office, its the end of the year in the school system, and several employees transferring to alternative counties. With this it brings loads of transferring contacts to take with them from their company phone. Well, this one in particular sparked a guide idea. So here it is, How to transfer Outlook contacts to your Gmail account.


Step 1: Sign in to your outlook account.
step 2 In the top left hand corner click File > Import/Export > Export to file > Browse to desired place to save your file > export. Be sure you export the file as .csv (comma separated values)
Step 3 Log into your Gmail account
Step 4 Select 'Contacts' In the subsection you will see a 'Import' button on the right-hand side. Click it.
Step 5 Browse to the location where you saved it > Open it > Click Import.



I would have provided pictures, but I use neither Outlook or Gmail. Hope someone somewhere gets some use from this. *Toast :toast:

Outlook spam filter reset

Hi Freddrick

Followed the step above - no faults found.

I will wait until the next time windows installs an update and see if the outlook spam filter is defaulting back to "none" or if it stays on my custom setting of "low".
