Windows 10: Microsoft Photo App - Edit feature - Automatic Enhancement feature not working

All Aspects of the Edit features are working fine. However, the "Enhancement" icon does not work.

Enhance Feature on Microsoft Photos App Stopped Working Overnight

I'm an avid user of the Microsoft Photos app we get on Windows 10 automatically, and use the Edit & Create button a lot to edit my photos. I especially like the enhance function the app offers. However, a few days ago, the app suddenly stopped working -
it had worked fine the day before, but now I get nothing when I drag the enhance bar. The app does respond in that the "undo" option lights up, so it still recognize the feature as being a feature, the feature just no longer does anything.

I can't remember specifically if my computer had an update that night - but I do know, that I didn't make any changes to my computer or the app myself.

I have already tried repairing & resetting the app (and restarting my computer), but neither helped.

 

Enhancement feature inside edit function of Microsoft Photo Editor

My photo editor function is not working properly anymore. If I try to use the enhance feature in the edit photo program, nothing happens. All other actions within the edit section work. How can I get the enhance feature to work again - it was working properly.

Got in touch with @MicrosoftHelps via Twitter who suggested downloading an add on called Photos Media Engine Add-on.Downloaded it this morning and have tried the enhance feature on a good few different photos from different folders etc.Pleased to say all
working exactly as it should at the moment.Fingers crossed everything stays that way.
