Three days age my computer added an unblock box that I have to go into the general section of "properties" on each & every web photo that I have ever saved to my computer, so now When I click on a photo to enlarge nothing happens unless I click onto the properties tab for each photo & then check the 'unblock" box in the general section of "properties.

How can I change the computer back to how it was , without having to click that box on each & ever web photo I have?

    :)

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

    • I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

    • Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.
That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Microsoft Picture manger

    Hi Jessica,

To regain access to your photos on your Microsoft Picture Manager, we suggest that you follow the steps below.

Run SFC (System File Checker) using the Command Prompt
to replace corrupted files to fix issues with the computer programs by following these steps:

    • Click Start, type Command Prompt.
    • Right click and select Run as administrator. If prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation,
type the password, or click Allow.

    • At the Command Prompt, type sfc /scannow then press
      Enter.

Note: Do not close the Command Prompt until the verification is 100% complete.

Once it's done, restart your computer and check if the issue is fixed.

Informed us about the process so we can assist you further.
