  1. Microsoft prepares to roll out new update options for Windows 10

    ^^ What he said^^

One of the things they've done is roll all the updates into one installer package. They can do this because every PC already has all the previous applicable updates from the last patch Tuesday. If you could pick and chose only what you wanted, Windows update would have to check each and every one separately. Remember when Windows update seemed to take forever to figure out what updates you should get. *Wink IMHO though, driver updates should be exluded and be totally optional on the part of the owner. Feature updates too.

Honestly, we should be happy Microsoft actually appears to be listening to complaints. At least that's the impression I'm getting from these changes. It may not be enough of a change for everybody but at least, IMHO anyway, its a step in the right direction.

  2. The ISO offered by the Media Creation Tool is updated whenever a new Consumer Release is released. It's always happened that way in the past. Just remember to re download the tool and start fresh.
