Products governed by the Modern Policy reaching end of support: The following products, governed by the Modern Policy, have announced the end of support for 2019. There will be no new security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options or online technical content updates.

Service Packs reaching end of support: The following service packs have announced the end of support in 2019. To remain in support, customers must move to the latest service pack. Initial releases (RTM) of a product are considered Service Pack 0. When a new service pack is released customers will have 12 or 24 months of support months to allow time to transition to the latest service pack. For more information, see our Service Pack Policy.

Products moving from Mainstream to Extended Support: The following products will be moving from Mainstream Support into Extended Support over the next year. Extended Support lasts for a minimum of 5 years and includes security updates at no cost, and paid non-security updates and support. Additionally, Microsoft will not accept requests for design changes or new features during the Extended Support phase.

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.

Any supported Windows 10 SAC release

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018

The next LTSC release of Windows Server

The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

NVIDIA Ending Support for 32 bit and NVS Products

After Release 390, NVIDIA will no longer support the following NVS products:

NVS 315

NVS 310

Later driver release versions will not operate, nor install, on systems using the above products. Driver enhancements, driver optimizations, and operating system features in driver versions after Release 390 will not be incorporated back into Release 390 or earlier versions. This impacts the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 7

Microsoft Windows 8/8.1

Microsoft Windows 10

Linux

FreeBSD

NVIDIA intends to support security fixes as follows:

End of NVIDIA Driver Support for NVS Products | NVIDIA

After Release 390, NVIDIA will no longer release drivers for 32-bit operating systems1 for any GPU architecture. Later driver release versions will not operate, nor install, on 32-bit operating systems. Driver enhancements, driver optimizations, and operating system features in driver versions after Release 390 will not be incorporated back into Release 390 or earlier versions. This impacts the following operating systems:
