Windows 10: Microsoft safety scanner enables Windows Defender

Windows Safety Scanner enables Windows Defender if it has been manually disabled

I have disabled Windows Defender myself and this is just annoying having it running when it is not needed

I visit websites on a different device and use this one to run specific applications, Windows defender is not needed on this device

Update Issue Safety Scanner

If you are using Windows Defender, you won't need Safety Scanner, as Windows Defender contains all malwares which are in Safety Scanner list and it has additional protection like cloud-protection, just make sure it is update and run a full system scan with
it.

Do you have access to those files which has been detected with ESET?

Could you post back the list of malware?

Safety scanner is only scanner and you will need real-time protection like Windows Defender in Windows 10 and there you have options.
