Windows 10: Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard - intermittent error

Dear Sir,


I using the microsoft sculpt ergonomic keyboard over ten days and experienced intermittent error e.g. all text were delete themself without any key press. I found a couple times during using the MS-word. Event through the MS-word program was closed and reopen it, the problem still persist. So far I fixed the problem by restart my computer.


So could you please advise the way forward to fix the problem ASAP.

Sculpt ergonomic desktop - Replacement

• What is the version of Windows installed?
  

I suggest you to get in touch with the Microsoft Hardware
Support to know about the replacement criteria. Meanwhile, you may also go through the
Warranty Limit Manual given under Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop.

Bluetooth Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard

Is anyone aware if Microsoft is considering releasing bluetooth version of the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard (or Desktop)?

In my opinion, it would be a great step forward for this great product.

 

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop intermittently unresponsive

I am on my 3rd Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop on 2 different computers (ASrock MB custom built).
All three have become intermittently unresponsive as follows:

• Typing along and it skips strokes leaving missing characters.
• Hitting the same key several times in a row with no response for several seconds and then typing the same character repeatedly.
• No response even after several seconds or even a minute. Only fix is to unplug and reinsert the USB receiver. Then it is good to go for a while.

The steps I have taken to resolve are as follows:

• Using Window 10 64 bit with all updates applied.
• Installed the latest version of the keyboard software from the Microsoft site
• Located the receiver less than 24" away from the keyboard using a USB extension cable

I love this keyboard and mouse so this problem is very troubling. Has anyone had this problem and resolved it successfully.
