Windows 10: Microsoft Solitaire unplayable due to "blank" ads

Hi


My problem is that every time I try to start a new game, I have an ad open with just a black screen, an something about "Hidden city" game down in the corner. I can not a close button or X up in the top right corner.


It is just sitting there, not letting me move on. See attached picture


If I close the window, then I have to restart Solitaire, and then the **** happens again. PLease fix the ads so it is possible to close them

Microsoft Solitaire is not working

I need more information about your concern. Is there any error message/code after Microsoft Solitaire fails to launch? Since the steps you have tried did not work, I suggest that you reinstall it instead. Follow the steps below:

• Open Windows PowerShell as an administrator. (Type PowerShell in Start menu search box, right-click and select Run as administrator)
• Type the following command and press Enter "Get-AppxPackage *solitairecollection* | Remove-AppxPackage"
• You can close the PowerShell window and restart your device.
• Open Store app and search for Microsoft Solitaire Collection and download the game.
