    Microsoft Solitare not working


    When I click to play today's challenge I get taken to some screen that is horribly blurry and has the title Playgame.io on it. I've uninstalled solitaire and reinstalled and still get it. What's going on and how do I get rid of it. Typically when the system takes me to view an ad it's runs it's course and then gives me the option to close the ad and return to the game. Not so with this Playgame.io.

    Microsoft Solitare Collection Issues

    I tried all of the steps here which prior to this I had reset the Windows Store as well as Microsoft Solitare Collection so I did it again by first trying steps 1 & 2 but this did not resolve the problem so I also did the other steps in your instructions
    and this did not resolve the issue either. Every time I open the app after a fraction of a second it crashes my computer. I am thinking of refreshing Windows but I would like to know if you have other suggestions instead.

    MSN Apps and 'Microsoft Solitare Collection' are not WORKING!

    Hi Arijit,

    I realize that MSN Apps and 'Microsoft Solitare Collection' are not working on the PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

    Suggest you to boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if you are able to open the apps and also update the apps. A clean boot state will help us to determine if any 3rd party service or application is causing this issue.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows:

    Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow the steps under “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot” in the article to boot to normal startup.

    For the issue with the apps, I would like to let you know that you will be able to solve some problems by running a troubleshooter that will automatically fix some common issues with Windows Store Apps. Once this is done check the status.

    Open the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter by following these steps:


    • Press Windows key + X and click on
      Control Panel.

    • Click on Troubleshooting and click on
      View All.
    Click on “Windows Store Apps” troubleshooter to fix problems with Windows Store Apps. Follow the on-screen directions to run this troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.
