    Microsoft starts internal development of Windows 10 ‘Redstone’


    Apple's HW is too expensive to be used only for Windows to run on it. at best can be used as dual boot W/OSX. If Apple made OSX for general PCs they would have to charge pretty money for it, probably more expensive than Windows to offset losses they would incur on HW side.
    So, I can't see Apple making an OS for general PC population any soon. There's bigger chance that Google or somebody else would make an OS to challenge MS and Windows to any degree, even Linux is far away in that field.
