Windows 10: Microsoft Store and adjacent UWD apps not working

Recently Microsoft Store and some of the default Windows 10 apps wouldn't open and had an exclamation mark on them in the Start Menu tile. Here are some of the things that I've tried:

• sfc /scannow
• wsreset
• reset all windows 10 apps (which let to more of them failing to open)
• wsreset again but this time powershell gave me this: Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073D0A, The package could not be installed because the Windows Firewall service is not running. Enable the Windows Firewall service and try again.

How to run apps that are downloaded from Microsoft app store on multiple PCs without downloading multiple times.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

Since running the troubleshooter for Windows app didn't work, we suggest resetting Windows Store by following the steps below to resolve your issue:

• Type Apps & features on search box/Cortana and click on it.
• Look for Microsoft Store app and click on Advance options.
• Click Reset button and retest.
