  1. Microsoft store and Xbox app saying I'm not connected to the internet

every time I try to sign in to my Microsoft account on the Microsoft Store, Xbox app, and Minecraft windows 10 edition it says that I am not connected to the internet and gives me this error:

you'll need to connect to the internet for this

it doesn't look like you're connected to the internet. Check your connection and try again

    0x800704cf

now I've tried everything I can think of, I've checked my proxy settings, restarted the apps, reset the apps, uninstalled the apps, used command prompted but still I'm getting this error but only anything that requires a Microsoft account. I'm clearly connected to the internet because I can watch youtube and play games online

    :)

  2. Microsoft keeps saying I'm not connected to the internet

    Hi Jeanette,

Internet connection errors in Microsoft Solitaire Collection may occur if your network settings are not set up properly. It is also possible that some of the game components got corrupted during the update. To resolve your concern, you may perform the following
    solutions on your computer:

Solution 1. Run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the run troubleshooter button on this link.

Solution 2. Reset Windows Store to clear store cache.

    • Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
    • Click on Command prompt (Admin).
    • Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.

Solution 3. Uninstall and reinstall Xbox app to update it.

    • Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    • Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    • Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
    • Hit Enter.
    • Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.
    • Open the game through Xbox App.

If the issue persists, change your internet settings by following the steps below:

    • Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then type Internet Options in the search box.
    • Click the Connections tab, and then click on the LAN settings button.
    • Uncheck Use a proxy server for your LAN, and then check Automatically detect settings.
    • Click OK, and then click OK again to save the settings.
    • Launch Xbox app and sign in again.

Keep us updated with the results after performing the suggested solutions above.

The Microsoft Store, and the Xbox app doesn't work!

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are unable to launch Microsoft Store, Xbox app and GameBar. I’ll certainly help you with this issue.

    However, please let us know:

    • Do you receive any error message?
    • Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
    • Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently? To check type:
winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
      Enter.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

For issues with launching Microsoft Store, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the article

      Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    2. Paste the following command and press Enter:

Windows 10 1809: Microsoft Store Can't Connect to the Internet

    Hi TenForums,

I'm having a problem opening Microsoft Store, it keeps telling me to check my internet connection. Even though I have good connection. It wont let me open apps downloaded from the store, like Xbox and Roblox. Edge cant connect to the internet too!

I think this started yesterday after the cumulative update 4464330, not sure though it its the cause.

    Any feedback/help is appreciated.
