Windows 10: Microsoft Store apps install location

Hello. I'm having problems trying to install games from Store. Before start I want to point out that I have an SSD and my windows installed in it so I don't have much space in it there. I wan't to install games to my other drive which called X. I installed Forza Horizon 4 to my X Drive before but today (I recently updated my windows) after the update when try to install any game it asks me which folder to install but it only shows my SSD. I tried changing it by Win + I storage settings but it didn't help me.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Can't install apps from the Windows Store

I understand your inconvenience. We will assist you to resolve this issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Navigate to the location,

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\DataStore.edb

• Delete everything in this folder.

Note: This shall delete all the Windows Store files and update. You may have to reinstall the updates.
