  1. Microsoft store keeps downloading a game I don't own

My windows 10 laptop keeps downloading Sea of Thieves even though I don't own it. I used to play Sea of Thieves when I had Game Pass on another microsoft account. Now I don't have game pass anymore but it still keeps downloading it to my computer. The game doesn't show up in microsoft store "My library" or in "Downloads and updates" sections. I have multiple times deleted the Microsoft.SeaofThieves_2.89.36... folder in "WindowsApps" folder, but it keeps appearing there. Now it's once again taking 44.3 GB of storage. There isn't any shortcut to launch the game. Microsoft store doesn't show it being downloaded or installed.

How do I make it stop downloading and taking up my storage?

    :)

  2. Using games from the microsoft store

Based on the results you've obtained, this can be an issue with the Windows Store which affects the digital games you’ve downloaded from it. We suggest manually resetting the Windows Store cache. Here are the steps:

    • Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
    • Type WSReset.exe and click OK.
    • The Store and a command prompt will now open with any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.
Once done with the reset, kindly click this
    link
and follow the steps on how to check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store. Search if there are any updates available for the affected game.

Keep us updated with the progress.
