Windows 10: Microsoft Store

Hi, I have recently downloaded a game from windows store with xbox game pass, and after the first run, in which I have changed display options I had to rerun the game. On the second run some kind of error occurred, so I headed to applications, found the game, opened advanced options, and clicked reset. This worked for me with another game and similar problem. Now the problem is, that the reset option deleted the game from my applications menu ****?, it is still in windowsapps specific game folder, but when I try to run the app from there, windows says that I do not have permission to do it also I do not have permission to change that permission. Moreover, windows store allows me to download it again. The game folder in user/saved games does not contain anything usefull, although 4 files named Crash.DESKTOP are present nothing usefull inside. So the thing is: The game is still on my computer, but windows store and Xbox beta both have problem with it and do not allow me to play the game, but would happily download it for me again... This is insane, since I started using these applications two weeks ago, I had nothing but problems with them and the games I downloaded. I am not able to download the game again - and if there is no HUMANE way to repair this problem I think I won't be using xbox game pass anymore. I understand that xbox game pass is a rental service, and that I do not have rights to do anything with the game. But redownloading the game cannot be the only way to repair these games. If the service policy is to not allow users to do anything with the games, AT LEAST support us with repair tools, or give us more management tools in windows store and/or xbox beta for example a way to manually indicate game files.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

and check.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
