Windows 10: Microsoft store

I have a desktop pc running windows 10 pro and 2 drives. My C: Drive which is my SSD that is basically full yet is the default storage device for the Microsoft store. So, I would like to install a game on my other drive. I cannot because it asks me if would like to delete all other apps from "another device" on that drive. The answer is no I do not want to delete all the apps on that drive what so ever it would take forever to re-install everything. So I click "no" and it gives me an error code. I do that about 5 times always with the same message. I try clicking "yes" even though I absolutely do not want to have to delete everything, again it just gives me an error code saying that it cant be done right now and to try again later. I've tried this multiple times on several different days always with the same messages. I tried switching all the other options to my other drive. It can do this with no issues and no messages asking me to delete everything. I would really like to be able to install the games that I pay monthly to be able to play on my hard drive that has 200+ gigs of free space. I have been looking through the forums forever and no one seems to have my specific issue. SO, if anyone has a solution or fix that doesn't involve me deleting 800+ gigs of data from my drive just so I can install one 50gb game. If anyone has solutions that would be very helpful. Really really tired of only being able to install one game at a time because I can't use my other drive. Thanks.

App store and Microsoft account

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Microsoft Store

Hi James,

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
