Windows 10: Microsoft Task Bar

Recently their must have been and update with Microsoft Explorer. Now the task bar is always at the top of the page and too big. How do I make it smaller or get rid of it...I already have access to Explorer at the bottom task bar...Any help would be appreciated.

• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

• Right click on the task bar and check if the option "Lock the taskbar" is unchecked.
• If it is check, I request you to unchecked it.
• Now drag the taskbar down.
