    Windows Media Videos not working

    Well, your suggestion to follow the procedures of updating the codecs. to check this
    article. - did not work. It seems that March 14th update for Windows 10 screwed up
    Windows Media Player for some of the *mpg. While looking at the article, it showed codecs for *.mpg, Really, we need a resolution. I have too many *.mpeg, *.mpg, *m2t videos. All of those formats were working before the March 14th update.

    On March 18, 2017 - I uninstalled the following update: "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4013429)" - and now the Windows Media Player works and plays my *.mpg, *.m2t format videos. So Microsoft, can you check that
    update and tell me why it's causing a problem?

    Yes, there will be, it is currently in development, called the Creators Update. Build 14986 is an iteration of it currently in development.

    The Creators Update will be available sometime in the spring or around March 2017. It will be the follow up to the Anniversary Update.
