Windows 10: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable x64 Update Needed

Howdy folks. First off, I appreciate any and all assistance that can be provided. I am a 50 yr old computer dummy so, if someone has the information requested, please break it down to the simplest how-to possible. Again, Thank you. Issue: I received a notification to update my Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable x64 from 14.0.23918.0 to 14.29.30139.0 . I have looked it up on the Microsoft downloads page and in the forums. I am finding that folks have had issues with start-up after applying the update provided. It is an earlier version than the number that I have provided. CCle

I suggest you to uninstall any existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package to check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Uninstall the exiting Microsoft Visual C++.

a) Press Windows key + x key and select
Programs and Features.

b) Right click on the Microsoft Visual C++ and uninstall it.

Step 2: Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and install it.
