Windows 10: Microsoft Visual C + + is installed but wont open steam game

Recently, I've installed the game POSTAL Redux from steam and it is a UE4 game. But when you click on the game icon it asks to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable which I have installed and uninstalled multiple times. I've contacted Steam Support, POSTAL Redux Support, and now Microsoft Support. I've also redownloaded the game multiple times and it still keeps asking to install C++. I don't know if this is a Steam problem or a Unreal Engine problem but I have no idea at this point. If you know the solution then I would love to hear.

Microsoft visual c++ 2015 error when running steam games

When i launch a steam game that needs to install visual c++ i get this error



If i hit ok i get this error



Ive gone through my program list and uninstalled all of the microsoft visual C++ programs listed, and reinstalled them but i still get the error.

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.
