    malicious pornographic spyware alert

    That's a fake alert/warning pop up, usually with a phone number to call. It's a so called Tech Support Scam.

    It does not necessarily mean that your computer is infected and those pop ups are in general easy to close.

    What really helps is the use of a good browser together with a good advertisment etc blocker and a good Anti-Virus program.

    Personally I use Firefox, uBlock Origin, Emsisoft Anti-Malware.

    microsoft warning notice

    Received microsoft warning alert about malicious spyware/riskware detected on computer. It locked up computer. Am asked to call a given 877-530-1728 number to have microsoft engineers talk me through removal process. Any way I can verify this message with
    microsoft support (and talk to a human being). I need a number to call.
