  2. Thanks for posting that.
I will stick with Edge all the way, I don't have CHROME as I don't like it.
Fire Fox & Opera my friends have had when their IE browser played up and what I saw of them I did not like.
Edge is the future and I aim for one to use it all the time, that is why I have dumped IE11 as well.
I can hard surf with it go to any site or forum I went to with IE11, the only difference Edge does not Crash or Freeze.
Now coming up to 6 weeks of using Edge and not once can I complain

    :)

  3. All Internet browsers will not launch in Windows 10 for multiple users

Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11, and Microsoft Edge will not launch in Windows 10 for multiple users. Uninstalling Google Chrome and Firefox does not fix issue. Restoring Windows to an earlier date fixes issue for one or two users. This is
a recent issue affecting many users. This has to be a Windows 10 Security Update related issue. I am Microsoft Certified, so please do not tell me to re-install Windows 10. What has Microsoft done to resolve this issue that has recently surfaced?

    Email support in Internet Explorer

Windows 10 Internet Explorer 11 stopped supporting email on 08/29/16. What is Microsoft doing about this problem. Verizon techs say I should forget Internet Explorer and use Chrome or Firefox. They claim Internet Explorer is not the browser it used to
be. Is there any fix for the problem in the Microsoft system / community.

When I start getting pop-ups when changing a default, then I will DEFINITELY Make the change! I can't stand pushy people or pushy tactics. "Oh come on give it a try, you might just like it"- Sounds like peer pressure to smoke that 1st cigarette(or something stronger) to me*really

  6. Microsoft apps lack everything user friendly, but MS still consider them superior, typical MS. *Sleepy

  7. Needs to add features that I use before I make it the default

Main one for me is syncing of favourites/usernames between my devices, IE does this so I see no reason to change

Adding a feature like being able to write on websites and classing this as a major improvement over other browsers has no interest to me
Cortana is a nice feature in Edge, but apart from that it offers nothing over the other browsers

In time I will most likely switch to Edge, but at the moment I have no reason to

    I like Chrome!!!
The bookmarks and add-ons sync between my pc and my Chromebook and my mobile phone.
I have a great Evernote add-on, which I can clip web pages to notes etc.
A Gmail add-on, which gives me drop down information about my incoming emails.
A Task add-on which syncs with my Google tasks.
A 1Password add-on which fills in my private logins and password information.
    Etc,Etc,Etc......
It would take a massive improvement in Edge to make me switch. I can't see that happening for several years.

Is there a site showing available Edge addons and extensions? I would like to see what's available before even thinking about switching.

Really? You'd think they'd wait till it was finished before pushing people to use it. Thanks for the info.

Not me*really. Not until they add tracking protection... It's not secure enough for me to even think of using it on a regular basis. Although a bit of good news, MBAE now shields Edge too.

  15. This just seems to be the case with many of the MS Apps, they just seem so basic compared to the alternatives
I do use quite a few of their apps, but they are missing so much compared to the alternatives

This is what I don't understand about this, if they are going to introduce a new browser and expect people to use it as the default, then at least give it the features of the app it is replacing
Edge should have all the features that IE does, plus the additional new features
**comparing it with IE and ignoring others as both are MS browsers
