Windows 10: Microsoft Windows has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware

I was playing DotA 2 on my recently bought laptop today before I decided I wanted to play Diablo 3 instead. Not even 5 minutes after I got a message saying that Microsft(r) Windows(r) had been blocked from accessing my graphics card and now I can't play any games at all, which is the only thing I bought this laptop for.

I have been reading on forums and threads and whatnot but nothing has worked out for me yet. One thing I tried was to deactivate my intel HD graphics card and driver. This did actually work but left even my desktop lagging like crazy and didn't really fix anything, I could at least use my pc for anything that doesnt require my GPU to run before this. So I activated it again.
I can open some games but they look like a datamosh artwork when opened, and I can't really interact with it.

That's pretty much all the "progress" I've made trying to fix this, but now I've grown tired of this. I'm too tired of windows having these types of issues that you can't really fix and that happen for no clear reason or with no explanation. Just "boom" you're ****.
I don't know what to do, I desperately need help. This computer cost me a lot of my money, I still have time to return it if I need to, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

windows 10 graphics hardware blocking access

Intel Graphics 4600 graphics card and AMD Radeon R7 A256 on a dell desktop inspiron 5348. Running microsoft solitaitre games under most recent release of windows 10 (november 2015) and it has started telling me the appliication has been blocked from accessing
graphics hardware. Have checked drivers for latest version and all seems up to date. How do I stop it happening?
