Windows 10: Microsoft Windows Store Code 0x000001f8

Am I the only one seeing this?? I have several computer at this location and several at another and now all of them get code 0x00001f8 when trying to access an app in the Microsoft store.

This seems like it must be widespread if I'm seeing this on so many computers.


I'd really love to update a few apps, but there is just nothing I can see to do.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

Microsoft Store error code 0x8037F7000 in Windows 10

• Have you made any changes in settings prior to the issue?
• Do you see any error message along with the error code?

I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
  
• 
  Select Windows store Apps.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instruction.
  

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

• Click the Settings icon at the top right corner in internet explorer.
• Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
• Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
• Uncheck the box next to “proxy server for your LAN”.
• Click on OK to save the setting and close window.
