    Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and Ultra-wide monitor


    Is there any body, who can properly project from a PC/ laptop to an 3440x1440 external Ultra-wide monitor using Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter?

    PS: "properly" means the Ultra-wide monitor runs on 3440x1440 resolution mode.

    Microsoft V2 Wireless Display Adapter screen resolution issue.

    To correct an issue with a second screen and my Lenova Yoga 900 laptop's display adapter, I abandoned using an HDMI cable and purchased a Microsoft V2 Wireless Display Adapter. But... I can no longer select 2560 x 1080 resolution on my second screen (29"
    ultra-wide LG monitor), which I could when I was using an HDMI hard cable. I can't find anywhere to change this, am I missing something?

    I suggest you to run windows Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to fix the issue.
