Windows 10: Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Set 3050 - Are replacement parts available?

I had gotten the Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Set 3050 from my dad as he bought a new modern wireless set. After maybe about using it for a year and a half, the scroll wheel had disintegrated a lot, so i stopped using the mouse and swapped it while still using the keyboard. But after using the new mouse for a year I didn't like the feel of the mouse at all and I really liked the ergonomics of the old mouse because it just keeps your hand in that natural curve. When I tried to use it again though, the tracking works unsurprisingly but all the buttons are just dead. The only time I di

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3050 Hotkeys

I have a Microsoft wireless keyboard 3050. I have programmed the my favorite buttons (1-5) to open various files or folders. This only works intermittently sometimes switching to 'open items on task bar' function even though my settings in keyboard and mouse
center are set to 'open program, webpage or file'

Any suggestions?
