Windows 10: Microsoft's native replacement for Deep Freeze

Good morning all.

My manager mentioned in an email that he has been on a few Microsoft related webcasts and they mentioned that Windows 10 will be getting or has an option that is native and does the same thing as Deep Freeze (Which we are currently using and paying for..)

I searched and can't find anything on this. I questioned him and he can't remember what it was called. (Perhaps a fever dream? )

Does anyone have any information on something coming along or that is already out?

Norton is nowhere near the top of a list I'd call "important software" *Roll :roll:.

I wanna know if there is any possibility to unfreeze the deep freeze 6 after forgetting the password. And of course without reinstalling the system.

1. Could you let us know the complete error message or error code at Blue Screen of death?

2. Were you able to install the Deep Freeze 8.30 successfully in the host operating system?

3. Are you able to boot the computer to desktop?

4. May I know the make and model of the computer?

5. is the computer connected to a Domain Network?

Deep freeze standard requires Windows XP/7/8.1/10 (version 1803 below) and 10% free hard drive space. The hardware requirements are the same as the recommended hardware requirements for the host operating system. You may want to refer to

Troubleshoot blue screen errors and check if it resolves the issue.
