Windows 10: Migration assistant

I am not able to install migration assistant on my Windows 10 computer. I keep getting the message that I need to close down Edge but it is not open. I have installed and uninstalled migration assistant many times including shutting down my computer and restarting it again. I would appreciate any help I can get.

• Does it happen every time you use video call on Skype?
• Have you done any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• Have you tried updating any drivers?

Migration Assistant

I want to transfer my files from my PC to my new MacBook Pro. I've downloaded the migration assistant but when I attempt to run it, it says Windows Mail is open, but it's not and I don't use Windows Mail. Then a window pops up that says to make a choice
between repair or remove the migration assistant. I've tried both but seems to work. So my next thing is to try to remove or close Windows mail. How do I do this or how do I get migration assistant to work?

 

Migration Assistant Problem

I'm trying to use Migration Assistant to copy files from Dell Inspiron15 to a new MacBook Pro. Migration Assistant downloaded and when run says Windows Mail is running. I am running Windows 10. Tried the Powershell solution that was previously posted.
This isn't working. Any other solutions?
